"Sayau" means dance movements in Dusun Tindal (one of the ethnics in Sabah, Malaysia). This dance showcases the mystery dance movements of Bobohizan, which is the ritual specialist and a spirit medium in Kadazan-Dusun pagan rites. During Kaamatan (harvest festival in Sabah), Bobohizan is believed to appease the rice spirit.
